The Hillbilly Triathlon, hosted by Copper Trail Brewing and Smokin’ Brews & ‘Ques and sponsored by Hagstrom Engineering, is a new event taking place Sunday, May 26, 2024. The triathlon consists of 3 events played by two-person teams throughout the morning and afternoon, ending in a recognition ceremony with live music at Copper Trail Brewing in Downtown Alexandria. Teams will compete throughout the day to earn points toward their final standings, with prizes awarded to the top placing teams.

The 2024 triathlon events are:

• 5-Stand Shooting Contest at Alexandria Shooting Park

  • Ear protection provided; you must bring your own shells or purchase them at the shooting park, as well as bring your own eye protection—eye and ear protection is required!

• 9 Hole Golf Scramble at Nordic Trails Golf Course

  • Players must provide their own clubs (players may share one set!)

• The Hagstrom Engineering Parking Lot Giant Beer Pong Tournament at Copper Trail

Registration is $100 per person/$200 per team, which covers participation in the games at each location. Each player will also receive two free beverages from Copper Trail, and lunch at the golf course provided by Smokin’ Brews & ‘Ques.

Check-in is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. at Alexandria Shooting Park (times subject to change.)

By purchasing registration, you agree to the following terms:

• I understand I am registering a team for the Hillbilly Triathlon on Sunday, May 25.

• If I am unable to attend, I will contact the organizers at lewis@coppertrailbrewing.com as soon as possible.

• I understand that the events, locations, and times are subject to change if needed, in the event of severe weather, etc.

• I understand that registration is $200 per team, payable in cash at event check-in on Sunday.

• I understand that I am responsible for my own transportation to and between venues the day of the triathlon.
