Beertender (Full- & Part-Time)
Description:
The beertender is a key part of our process. They are the final hand-off point as the customer purchases the beer brewed right here at Copper Trail Brewing Co. It is important that this person represents the character and qualities of Copper Trail during this interaction.
Expectations:
Recommended to be 21+
A genuine enthusiasm for craft beer
Friendly and sociable; good communication skills
Willing to work as part of a team
Providing excellent customer service selling taps, growlers, and merchandise
Maintaining a high level of cleanliness and organization
Detailed and hardworking
Able to multitask efficiently and keep calm in high-pressure and high-traffic situations
Maintaining a clean, professional personal appearance
Responsible for opening and closing of taproom
Available to work taproom hours, evenings, and weekends
Assisting with additional brewery tasks as needed
Compensation:
Starting wage $11.00/hr plus tip out. Also includes beer and merchandise benefits.
Lead Beertender (Full & Part Time)
Description:
There are many moving parts to keep the taproom thriving for the entertainment and service of Copper Trail patrons. The Lead Beertender is key in maintaining the consistency of customer satisfaction by keeping beertenders updated on current information, carrying out tasks issued by the taproom manager, and problem-solving issues that arise related to the taproom. Beertender duties and shifts are also a required part of this role. Bar, Restaurant, or Brewery leadership or supervisory experience is recommended.

On-the-floor crisis management and problem-solving
Light interpersonal staff issues
Organization and inventory management
Tip outs and pull tab monitoring
Coordination between beertenders and management
Event setup
Back-Up Duties:
Balancing tills
Scheduling
Inventory and ordering
Training
Compensation:
Starting wage dependent on experience; includes tips
LINE COOK (ESTIMATED 20-30 HRs/week)
Description:
Be a part of a new project startup with the Copper Trail Brewing Co. team. A Line Cook prepares food using recipes and menu items created by the Head Chef and helps keep the kitchen running smoothly.
Expectations:
Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients and cooking main dishes, desserts, appetizers and snacks
Plating prepared foods based on senior chef’s guidance
Working with beertenders to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
Excellent kitchen administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a team
Strong organization and active listening skills
The ability to work on your feet for most of the day and lift 30 pounds at a time
Exceptional time management skills
Help represent the Copper Trail brand and culture
Team player, goal oriented, strong communication skills
Compensation:
Starting at $15.00/hr plus tip share. Additional beer, food, and merchandise discounts included.
