BREWS ON TAP
LIGHT
Festbier - German Lager | 4.8% ABV, 26 IBU
According to the internet, “Dortmunder is a German-style, relatively light-bodied lager. A bit stronger, with more body than a helles lager, not quite as hoppy as a pilsner. Historically, it was (and still is) brewed by breweries like Kronen and DAB in Dortmund, Germany.” According to us and the bar rail, HAPPY TUBA NOISES is delicious, refreshing, and [oompa oompa oompa], just in time for tuba season!
Blueberry Wheat | 5.5% ABV, 17 IBU
This is the perfect brew to keep you reminiscing of Grandma’s Blueberry Pies cooling on the window sill! The blueberry isn’t overpowering with a touch of honey malt that adds a sweet backnote, and the red wheat adding some fun depth to the beer.
American Wheat with Orange | 5.5% ABV , 17 IBU
Lakeside Mimosa is a twist on the classic mimosa cocktail, which is made with champagne and orange juice. This mimosa beer is made with wheat ale and infused orange flavors such as blood orange and tangerine. This can be a fun brunch beer or whenever a mimosa seems appropriate for those of us who don't believe mimosa should be limited to the mornings.
MEDIUM
Irish Red Ale | 5.8% ABV, 20 IBU
Not your regular corned beef and cabbage…this brew features a toasty caramel aroma, and a reddish-copper hue. The sweet up front and smooth semi-dry finish makes this Irish Red highly complex. It offers smoky hints of fire roast, and an indulgence of smooth, bready, and caramel flavors. This is the local Alexandria favorite.
Imperial Brown Lager BARREL AGED | 8.0% ABV, 21 IBU | EMPLOYEE BREW SERIES
Staying classy just got a lot easier, Alexandria. Meet DEEP MAHOGANY, our new imperial brown lager that’ll make your mustache curl with rich notes of caramel, toast, and just a hint of coffee, winding you toward a sweet finish glass after glass (though at 8% ABV, it’s also a bit of a trickster.) This latest entry in our Employee Brew Series was crafted by Alex, who actually now lives in Colorado but created the recipe because it’s a “unique style Copper Trail hasn’t seen before, and it sets itself apart from the rest of our menu.” We’ll be the first to say: he’s definitely not wrong.
DARK
Milk Chocolate Stout | 6.1% ABV, 45 IBU
The sun has set on this Minnesota specialty brew. We’ve all been there when the clock strikes twelve. Just a slight breeze. The vastness of the sky above. Stars as far as you can see. The MIDWEST MIDNIGHT is smooth with a slight sweetness. Berry and nectar poke through from some insanely awesome hops. The Cacao Nibs from Ghana give a chocolaty finish that fights with a roasty and slightly astringent dryness for the final flavors. It’s getting late—and you are in the Midwest.
Chocolate Coffee Stout | ABV 6.1%, IBU 46
This craft beer is a stout infused with coffee to make the perfect blend of chocolate and the sweet bitterness of coffee. The perfect nightcap to any evening that needs to start or finish with coffee.
Barrel-Aged Russian Imperial Stout | 11% ABV, 43 IBU
This Russian Imperial Stout is breaking all the rules to create complete anarchy! At 11% ABV, it’s dangerously smooth. No heat at all, but instead a roasty and semi sweet pair of flavors greets you at the front door. It is rounded out with a wicked finish of dark fruits and coffee on that oh so thick velvety texture. Come. And. Get. It!
HOPPY
Hazy IPA | 6.4% ABV, 15 IBU
If you don't have a beer with brunch, then it's just a sad late breakfast. Well, look no further than HAZY MORNINGS to fulfill all your brunch desires. This low bitterness hazy IPA has all the juicy and pillowy flavors to quench your thirst. The up front aroma of orange transforms into a medley of tropical fruits and pineapple. Your mornings just got a little bit hazier with Hazy Mornings.
West Coast IPA | 6.8% ABV, 96 IBU
A West Coast IPA will be clear, hoppy, and bitter. HOPPER TRAIL uses Cascade, Centennial, and Chinook hops for a bright, citrusy, and grapefruit finish. It is bitter, but also very malty, so it is very versatile to pair with many foods. Goes great with fish, fried food, or anything that incorporates citrus.
Wild Hop IPA | 6.3% ABV, 73 IBU
This wet hop IPA is a beer brewed with fresh wild hops grown in Alexandria that are harvested, transported, and used within 72 hours. Wet hop IPAs are also known as fresh hop IPAs. The flavor notes of this beer are mellow, delicate, and vibrant, with a taste that some describe as "like you're sucking on something green".

All of the sourness around you will disappear and it will only be in your glass! We added raspberries, blackberries, and lactose to make a stellar fruity sour that will be sure to send you into a QUANTUM LEAP! *Hums 80’s theme music to self while drinking.*
