Join Copper Trail, The Runestone Museum, and Legacy of the Lakes Museum for the annual Christmas in the Fort celebration, including the downtown Alexandria lighting ceremony!
Events at the Boat House (including the parade of trees, live reindeer, and Santa and Mrs. Claus) begin at 3:00, with the lighting ceremony itself taking place at 5:15, followed by a holiday parade at 6:00. Copper Trail will be serving from the taproom and guests are welcome to take their beverages out onto Broadway, where (weather depending) we’ll have fire pits set up to warm your evening and Colby’s World Classics food truck serving until 8:00.
Live violin music by Gabe Dalhoff from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.
